Photoshop is such a massive program and it’s often the case that once we find our own way of doing something, that’s just how we do it for ever. But this often means we miss out on some of the little shortcuts and quick techniques that would make our lives easier, simply because we didn’t know about them.

In this video you’ll learn an easy way to cut out trees in photoshop so you can adjust them separately from their background. This is really useful when you want to change the sky behind the trees, or add contrast or colour to the tree without touching the sky and vice versa.
