In this video I’m showing you how to create an Orton Effect ACTION in Photoshop.

I’ve shown how to perform the steps to create this technique in previous videos, but this time I’m showing how you can wrap it all up into a simple one-click action to save you time and effort in your Photoshop workflow.

If you haven’t created your own actions before, then this should be a good introduction into how they work and how you can create your own actions for all kinds of other repetitive tasks in Photoshop.

In this video I’m showing you a quick Curves adjustment layer tip for Photoshop that will help you stop over saturating photos when adding contrast.

Im a big fan of using curves and levels adjustments to increase the contrast in an image, because a big byproduct of that contrast is an increase in saturation. It’s why you’ll rarely ever see me use any saturation tools or adjustments in my workflow.

But there are times when you want to increase contrast without touching the saturation – so I’m going to show you exactly how right now.
